At the end of 2020, we walked into the mountainous area of southwestern China, where there are many large mountains, so transportation is inconvenient and very underdeveloped. There are many villages in the mountains where young people go out to work and go to cities where the economy is more developed and can make money, leaving their parents and children at home. They are called empty-nest elderly and left-behind children.

In winter, the children there are very far away from school. Many children need to get up at 4 in the morning. At that time, it was still dark and the moon was still in the sky, they suffer from the biting cold wind, and walk 3 hours on the rugged mountain road to school. Not to mention the rainy and snowy weather days. Basically, they all go to school to study at the risk of severe cold, mudslides and landslides. The harsh natural environment makes it a luxury for children there to go to school, because many parents choose to let their children drop out. There, many children have not graduated from elementary school, and this phenomenon has become the norm.

Information is blocked, transportation is inconvenient, material shortage, poverty and backwardness. Only education is the only way out for children. So Yanhuang Machinery, with other nail-making industry friends and merchants, donated money to the school and built up a student dormitory. In this way, the children may live in a warm and clean dormitory, no matter how bad the weather is, they can walk to the classroom within 10 minutes in the morning. Just a simple dormitory building gives all the children in the mountains the opportunity to go to school and receive education, and give them wings to fly out of the mountains, to change their lives and fates forever!
